Lindiwe is an anointed praise and worship leader, a songwriter and recording artist. Lindi as she affectionately known started out as a youth leader assisting the Pastors in building the youth ministry in 1987 at Free Methodist church in Mofolo Soweto. Lindi also led praise and worship at church. She also sang in youth meetings and played a lead role in the church’s musical youth drama.

In 1990, Lindi joined Alpha and Omega Ministries in Jabulani Soweto as a praise team member. She was then promoted to be the lead singer and later assistant director for the music team. Some of Lindi’s roles entailed leading worship, teaching drama, writing songs, auditioning and training new team members.

In 2000, Lindi moved to Rhema South ministries. This was the greatest challenge to move from being a leader to a beginner choir member. She learnt to have a meek spirit. Lindi later became a sectional leader for alto singers then was promoted to front vocal singer. Because of her humbleness and her teachable spirit, she got an opportunity to attend and complete a six months church leadership course.

God has anointed her for such a time as this to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. And thereby touch, heal and deliver Gods people by creating a meeting atmosphere between the creator and his people. She also serves at a prayer group leader, counseling and interceding for group members and other prayer needs in the church.

She gives thanks to God for her supportive and understanding husband Siyabulela Mantshongo.She is also a mother to four boys namely Sihle, Nkosinathi, Babalo and Lonwabo).
